Nestled on the banks of Lake Michigan, the DeKoven Center is a warm and historic building. Roam the halls and become immersed in history. The building is spacious with many cozy nooks to read, talk to fellows, or you can join a group for a lakefront stroll.

Why Attend?

The Chicago CMA retreat is a retreat specifically created and attended by the CMA Community. The retreat is a 3-day / 2-night event with a variety of planned activities developed to strengthen the sense of community and support through workshops, speakers, 12-step meetings, fellowship, discussion groups, campfires, and leisure time.

How do I get to DeKoven?

Most people opt to drive. We encourage the use of carpools. Not only do you share the ride, you can get to know someone. The committee is happy to pair you with someone.

What are the beds like?

Depending on the attendees, most people should have their own room. If you want a roommate, please specify that when registering.

Where is DeKoven?

The DeKoven Center is located in Racine, Wisconsin. It is roughly mid-way between Chicago Milwaukee. Without traffic, it takes about an hour and fifteen minutes.
